Lissa 2,631 Posted July 22, 2012 I don't worry about carbs at all and I don't pay much attention to calories either. I make sure I get in 70g or Protein per day and 64 oz of Water. For me, that's enough to worry about. 1 Pattyhdz reacted to this
Mr_Worm 129 Posted July 22, 2012 If you avoid the carbs you'll lose way more, thats what I've done from the beginning As for Protein, you should be doing a min of 70 g and the other post is correct about doing 64 oz of Water
MinaT 669 Posted July 22, 2012 I try to stay under 40 grams of carbs right now I'm only 7 weeks out though. I basically get about 20 grams of carbs right now and I'm at about 60-65 grams of Protein, I am definitely trying to up my protein, but I can only get about 2 ounces of food in me at a time still. fluffylibra30 323 Posted July 22, 2012 I try to stay at 60. I did 40 but felt like poop! Its just finding what works for you and your body. My NUT says I should be at 90-100 and I laugh at her. No way.
Suzannesh 376 Posted July 22, 2012 At one month...how many calories and carbs should you be eating a day. I know I am supposed to get between 50-60 grams of Protein. Hi, I can only speak from my experience, and what Dr. Aceves wanted me to do. I did not have more than 800 calories per day and watch the carbs--NO more than 20 to 25 carbs per day. Read ALL labels, you might be surprise of the things that have carbs in them--like Milk. I hope that will help, but check with the doctor that did your surgery. petite-size-me! 70 Posted July 22, 2012 Really depends on you and your activity level. You need natural carbs from legumes and low gi veggies, you should avoid highly processed carbs in breads and such like.

At once month I was told not to worry about calories. The most important thing is your Protein and 48-64 ounces of liquids.
