alexeleni 15 Posted July 20, 2012 Today is six months from surgery. I started at 234.5 pounds and, including pre-op weightloss (beginning January 3), have now lost 57.3 lbs. I feel like I should have done more!! I don't want to waste this and I expected to be proud and happy today, but now I am just sort of freaked out. Am I on the right track? HELP! KeepingMySoul 5 Posted July 20, 2012 Let's put this in perspective...When was the last time you were able to lose 57lbs in 6 months (disregarding childbirth)? Try hard not to compare yourself to others. Celebrate your accomplish. I'm proud of you! That number has no place to go but down! 2 mel2643 and FishingNurse reacted to this
chitowngirl 886 Posted July 20, 2012 I think your doing great. Your starting weight seems pretty low, so keep in mind that the people your comparing yourself to prob have a lot more weight to lose. Keep your head up and keep on treading forward. 1 Sleeved&Hopeful reacted to this
HalfaTiff 1 Posted July 20, 2012 I agree with keepingmysoul, I have found myself comparing myself to others so many times, but I had to realize what I have accomplished in such a short time. And when I break it down that way, how could I not be ecstatic. You are doing awesome and you should be proud. 1 mel2643 reacted to this
