I Understand Slow... But Really?

Recommended Posts

I am 8 weeks today and down 20 lbs... Was down 23 lbs and gained 3 lbs back. Plus 15 of those lbs were in the first 3 weeks prior to my first stall. I make my Water and Protein goals 90% of the time. I am trying my best to not to get discouraged. Will the weight eventually move faster or will it always be this slow??

My experience was that it eventually moved. I stalled for over a month at about three weeks after surgery. I stuck to exercising and eating as recommended. Eventually the weight started coming off - 12 lbs in the past 2 weeks. I feel better knowing I always stuck with my plan, and it finally paid off!

Keep at it!

Hang in there, it will happen! How many calories are you eating and are you exercising? I went through a two week stall, and read on this forum that if you don't eat enough calories your body will go into starvation mode. As soon as I added more calories to my diet, the stall broke.

Good luck!

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
