No problem. That's why you are here. Let me explain what I mean. I take calcium citrate petite tablets. On the back of the bottle, it lists how much Vit D and Calcium are in two tablets (serving size). There is 400 mg of calcium in two tablets. Therefore, you would have to take 2 tablets each day to get as close to your doctor's suggested 600 mg. My NUT says 400 is close enough for me. Look for that information, and that should give you your answer. I hope you are recovering well.

Just so your prepared, the weakness will hang on for a while. Don't panic. My surgeon said your body will take every ounce of Protein you consume to "heal a wound," which will leave you feeling fatigued for quite some time. Rest up and don't over-do anything. Some days will be better than others. You farted?!?! This is GREAT news!!!! hahahahahahahahahahaha. I thought my nurses were going to throw a party for me the first time I passed gas in the hospital. lol :tongue2:

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
