jh5497 105 Posted July 19, 2012 In 6 weeks-ish, you have lost 30lbs. Your body needs a chance to catch up, reconfigure itself and let your brain catch up to all the radical changes too. Stalls are inevitable for everyone, especially when the sleeve gives such rapid weight loss at first! Don't beat yourself and don't throw away your hard work by constant eating. You are doing AMAZING!!!!! I only hope to be where you are 6 weeks after my surgery!
Star1221 270 Posted July 19, 2012 You are doing fantastic. You've just hit your week 3 stall. Put the scale away and watch as things start getting smaller... Arms, thighs, neck. Mine was a little later. Week 5-week almost 9 (yes almost a month stall) but don't worry. It starts falling off. I started at 275. I am now at 208. This since April 18th. So hold on. It will start coming off again. Make sure you're getting your Protein and liquids. Maybe up the liquids a bit. That helps me. Good luck and congratulations on your journey thus far

Just think of it like this, if you're following your dr's plan, there's no way you can't lose. With the calories alone it makes it impossible. Add exercise to it, it the recipe for success. You guys got this. And weight is just a number, it's the NSVs (non scale victories) that mean the most. Smaller pants, shirt, and someone noticing that hasn't seen you in a while that says how great you look. 2 Karrina-D and jh5497 reacted to this
