wanttolose32 15 Posted July 18, 2012 I have done very good since my April surgery not over doing it and getting sick, well that all came to a halt last night. I ate too fast and before getting in the car to go somewhere, I had to let it all out in the front yard. That is not too bad except I felt bad for the girl walking down the street that had to hear and see it.
Pookeyism 1,143 Posted July 18, 2012 And you will be oh-so-much-more careful, lol... It happens to most of us, if not all of us. Wait till your allergies kick in or you get a cold that drains into your stomach - OMG that was aweful, I was full of snot, literally, for 3 days.
Dooter 1,457 Posted July 18, 2012 I wanted to express my sympathy, but I'm busy picturing the girl walking by, and now I can't stop laughing...... 2 ProudGrammy and Smiley79 reacted to this
ProudGrammy 8,322 Posted July 18, 2012 ate too fast wanttolose that was not a fun experience. hopefully you've "learned" from this, the hard way though we're not supposed to eat too much too fast - but it happens maybe more than once to some of us i made this delicious meal once, (not a good cook )i loved it and i ate too fast. Like someone was going to take my plate away and run That was an experience i won't forget too soon. no details take care sure you are feeling better by now good luck kathy
Catracks 865 Posted July 18, 2012 Been there done that. Sometimes we ignore the lesson. I was out all morning and didn't get Breakfast. By the time I got home it was 12:30 and I was ravenous. I bolted my food and it did a reverse direction. Then I didn't feel like eating so I waited 1/2 an hour and made a Protein Shake. Stupid. I should know better than to not eat all morning (hypoglycemic) then to stuff food down. 1 hadouni reacted to this
hadouni 301 Posted July 18, 2012 I was just thinking "been there, done that" too! =) It was harder for me in the first three months or so of solid foods and is very rare for me six months out. It'll get better because you'll learn your sleeve and know what to do and not to do. That's been my experience at least! Best to you!
