DallasTXJuly3GastricSleeve 3 Posted July 17, 2012 I was weighing 292 before my pre-op diet, on my 2 wk diet before surgery I lost 16 pounds. Once I had the surgery in the first week I lost 16 pounds. I recommend the surgery! The day of surgery you are in little pain but you have the morphine button and you push when you want the drug. The second day I would say would be the hardest because you have a little nausea from the anesthesia and that is when you get introduced to your liquids. Zip slowly so you won't panic when you begin to burp. I only vomited 2 times on the 2nd day because of the nausea. The gastric juice tube was removed the day after surgery as well. I was told to take a deep breath and on the count to 3 it would be out. I just said owch in low tone, it was just a discomfort feeling. It is 2 weeks and I feel no pain. 1 Rlmccoy reacted to this

DallasTXJuly3GastricSleeve 3 Posted July 20, 2012 Thanks! When the PA said to me, "you get to eat ham and egg next week", I got sooo happy....lol... I am tired of the liquids. I been following my diet really well. Maybe I should just eat one sunny side up egg....lol
