Dooter girl..I don't care if I am a size two..I can't use the plane's bathroom because my luck would be we would hit turbulence and the blue Water would splash my bare behind and then I would be so grossed out I would have to be physically romoved off the toilet ..and I would have to scrub my behind with bleach and get a tetanus and hepatitis A vaccine..lol

You are too funny :D

Wow, don't you just mis having the armrest dig into your hip? :)

In my minivan I used to use the PASSENGER arm rest instead of my own, I hung over the seat so far it wasn't really a stretch for me to plunk my fat arm down on the OTHER seats armrest. Now I forget it's there or reach up to lower it and discover it's already down.

Ain't it great :)

When that happens to me I swear I am going to give a "Oh Yeah Baby" at the top of my lungs. :D :D :D

^ this, exactly.

I LOVE to travel but airplanes have always been pretty terrible (I also dont like flying, haha) and so I can't WAIT for this to happen to me. In fact I think 'being comfy in seats' was in the top five of the my 'pros' list.

I don't want to burst your bubble, but at a size five ten years ago those danged seats still weren't comfy!

Isnt it great!!

I flew for work yesterday for the first time since actually feeling small...was surprised at how the seatbelt went on. Even flying home in that horrible middle seat (cause we were late to flights) was not uncomfortable, no squeezing my arms in trying to remain in the space, my arms all fit within the seat.

I love to travel so these are the funnest NSV's!!1

As long as the hips fit, lol, I'm okay! I'll sit on a pillow or something.

Unless you were hinting at the fact that the hips WONT fit in which case fiiiiiiine, but I'll still be comfier than I am now!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
