By June 2013 I will be graduating from college and I hope to be 120 pounds lighter. I'm 268 and very insecure about myself and body shape. But I will do everything to be my goal 130 !!! Joining planet fitness after suregy just gonna work hard and try and be down to 50-60 pounds for birthday in November so praying I have a great experience
Ms skinniness 3,003 Posted July 16, 2012 I know you will do great, but I'm curious as to why you would wait until after your surgery to join Planet Fitness? Why not join now and start the habit of exercising before the surgery? Have you begun to change your eating habits as well? This is a great time to start so the shock of the diet change won't be as hard on you. Just a suggestion, I want you to have a safe easy journey. You can do this. I'm rooting for you. 1 tabbymonroe reacted to this

hadouni 301 Posted July 16, 2012 You and I have the same starting weight and I'm down 75lbs at just over 6 months! Good luck to you! I wish I had the time to do the gym thing but it's not in the cards yet for this single mom. I'll stick to my human hamster wheel for now. 2 Livinglifeout and tabbymonroe reacted to this

hadouni 301 Posted July 24, 2012 I have the Zumba DVDs. I've been lucky to have lived in a few major metropolitan areas where I had access to many forms of ethnic dance so Zumba is ok, but not super exciting. I do like the Zumba workout with the weight/shaker sticks but getting motivated to re-arrange the furniture so I have space to do it is tough. I'm much more likely to get on my treadmill. I'm thinking of a gym membership but I don't like to take my son's time to go to the gym. 1 tabbymonroe reacted to this
