Ladies Please School Me

Recommended Posts

Know that most of yall on here are ladies. Ladies are always looming for perfection. I am in the learning phase of plastics.

This is what I am looking for and links to go with it. Little or no scaring please

1.Tummy tuck procedures

2.Breast implants

3.Butt implants

4.Rhinoplasty-looking for a good doc for a flawless nose job

No they are all not for me lol. If I wanted to be a TV it would but I am not. I am just researching for my wife and I. Thanks. Any point in the right direction would be helpfull.

For ratings from real patients and discussions of plastic procedures, go to www.realself.com

A really good plastic surgeon's site is www.eternallyvain.com Dr. Lev did my facelift, necklift, and chin implant. He also does the other procedures you mention with the exception of the butt implants. You might want to reconsider those--they hurt for a long time after surgery and can move around. There are other ways to get a bigger butt than implants like fat transfer or flap augmentation. There is also a doc in Mexico, Dr, Sauceda, who does lots of work on formerly obese people. There's a discussion group about him on Obesity Help.

Dr Dan Diaco in Tampa Fl is consistently recommended as one of the best options out there for breast work. Ive seen plenty of his work, & can say, the man is an artist.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
