I know you're gonna hate me' date=' but I have nothing to share. I eat carbs, drink some sweet tea and the occasional Sprite/7up and I did not exercise until this week. My calorie goal is 900 but I have only had that much once. I average 600. I have a bad knee and have had surgery on it since my VSG. I am in the process of having the cock's comb injection treatments on it right now. This is why I didn't exercise. I am able to walk now though, so I have started walking and doing Wii workouts. My skin is a bit loose from the rapid loss, so I hope the workouts will start helping me to tone up. Sorry I can't give you that magical combination to make it all go just right. But best wishes anyway :)[/quote']

Like you I eat carbs but I count them. They stay under 80 all the time but my targets 50. But I also drink tea but sweetened with equal or sweetnlow. I dont do any cardio either when I am on my vessel but I do have a coonass sauna called an engineroom. Only at 3 months I started weightlifting and at 4 months I did zumba while at home paired with my elliptical "almost fell off after 2 mins".

My daily goal is set to 800 calories per day. I attached a photo of my latest weekly trend. It has seemed to kickstart my loss to 1 lb a day @ 4.75 months out. Now I did try something. I eat half a South Beach chocolate bar every morning. I have started this last week and it seems to help turn up the metabolism. Could be a placebo effect.

Experimentation is the Key but I have found 2 things that I eat everyday. EAS Myoplex 42g Protein Drink and that South beach bar. Everything else is lagnaippe.

Ps I started drinking 3 bottle of Water per day.thats just some of my gathered info that I have been logging

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
