traceyinflorida 499 Posted July 13, 2012 I want to take my Vitamins, but they are HORRIBLE! I am taking a Centrum chewable Vitamin. It is huge and I hate the taste. Is it okay to take a regular Multi-Vitamin that I can just swallow (if I can tolerate it), or is there an issue with absorption post surgery? I am 6 weeks post op. vsginnj 415 Posted July 13, 2012 My dr had me wait 8 weeks. Try this "Source of life adults chewable" has everything most bariatric vita have and then some, dose is 2 tabs I split them am-pm . They are so good I don't chew just let them dissolve.
littlebits 154 Posted July 13, 2012 I have been through several different brands & types of multi Vitamins. liquids & chewables were a negative for me. However, I like the Alive gummies from the Vitamin Shoppe. They don't smell too great, but they taste okay (not bad at all). Littlebits
PeaceLove&Tash 27 Posted July 13, 2012 My doctor told me I could take two children's gummis! And those were great when I was a kid. They do make an adult formula as well
traceyinflorida 499 Posted July 13, 2012 Thanks everyone! It sounds like the gummies are the way to go!
drewmon 7 Posted July 13, 2012 The gummies do taste way better but my doctors office advises against them as they can be more difficult to absorb.
