Pre Op Pulmonary And Sleep Study

I did the sleep study and also the study for daytime sleepiness. I was there from 7:30PM to 4:00PM the next day. The daytime test started when they woke me up at 6:30 AM. I had to stay awake for two hurs, then nap for 20 minutes for the rest of the day. I was exhausted, grumpy and to rip the wires off and kill someone by the middle of the day.

I am fortunate that I didn't have to do the apnea study? Did anyone else not do it?

I did not and am glad after reading all these.

Yup. I have no sleep apnea and am a very light sleeper, they would have to sedate me forthe study which would invalidate the test results. I had the surgery without the sleep study
