petite-size-me! 70 Posted July 13, 2012 In Australia my surgeon used a laparoscopic tool that cuts, staples and double line sutures at the same time. Wish I could remember the name of it. Ultrasonic or ultrasound something. I watched a utuve video of one of the Mexico doctors and she used the same device.

Dietician laughed and said exactly. The surgery has been a WLS for less than 10 years but has been around for decades.
msvickee 212 Posted July 14, 2012 This surgery was being used as a phase one before a phase two surgery was performed but saw results with this first phase. I drilled my surgeon about leaks and he said none of his patients have ever got a leak. I feel confident and a leak is not in my future. I trust God through this journey too. Although anything is possible, I say follow the doctors orders to minimalize complications.
