Southern Oregon 30 Posted July 12, 2012 I figure we are all on the same timeline for pre-op....I can do Atkins (induction) if I don't cheat, not even a little (says the nutritionist). I am wondering if I shouldn't just do liquid the couple days before to make sure all is "empty" What about y'all? liquid or non-liquid for your pre-op? Half~of~Bri 25 Posted July 23, 2012 I'm non-liquid, just following a very low sugar, low carb, low fat, low sodium diet with no white foods (potato, noodles, rice etc.). I have my pre-op appointment with my surgeon and the hospital on July 30th so I'm sure I'll get more info then about the days prior to surgery. I'm hoping to do only liquids for a few days prior also. Only 3 weeks left!
Melissa Kirk 0 Posted July 27, 2012 I am on the Atkins type diet as well. Can have whatever I like as long as I am under 20g of carbs a day. I am on day 5 and am doing well. I had one day at 21g but the rest have been under 20g.
