msYoYo 17 Posted July 12, 2012 I'm 5 weeks out and went to have my blood work done today. I'm down 21 pounds and I feel good. I'm excited. I haven't been walking and exercising, but I'm going to start. I'm so excited and motivated. My starting BMI was 38 and I'm having great results. Webchickadee 716 Posted July 12, 2012 Walking is fantastic! And if you're bored, you can walk with a friend. The time/distance just slips by and before you know it, you've gone a couple of miles (and burned a bunch of calories!). And if it's really hot, you can always "mall walk". Just leave the purse/wallet in the car, or the walk becomes a shopping trip. With no exercise except opening the wallet and giving the credit card a workout! MinaT 669 Posted July 12, 2012 Congrats, I'm 5 weeks out and it's been a bit rough, but today I was able to drink out a water bottle and it not hurt me. For some reason I take in too much air and today I passed a huge hurdle. It's hard to go out in public carrying a one ounce med-cup and I thought I was going to be on those things forever.
