I have been adding them to my boring vanilla Protein Shakes. The hazelnut makese feel like I am having a great coffee!

I mix with my plain Fage 0% Greek Yogurt to change the flavor to suit my mood/tastes. SF Black Cherry was delicious. Loved the SF Amaretto!!!! SF French Vanilla, SF Raspberry......

I use the Da Vinci syrups, but I'm sure you can use any. I mix it with ricotta cheese. It somewhat tastes like cheesecake. Some people mix the syrups with cottage cheese also.

I got the variety pack from amazon too but haven't opened it yet. I did get the Torino SF peppermint and use it in Decaf coffee, also put some in SF lemonade as I like the COlorado Garbanzo restaurant Mint Lemonade prior to surgery.Celtic

You can add them to Protein Shakes, you can add them to unflavored yogurt, add them to coffee, make Protein ice cream, you can bake with it. The uses are endless. Check out Theworldaccordingtoeggface.com

She puts those in everything from pancakes to fat free whipped cream.

If you read The World According to Egg Face at all, she uses them in probably half of her recipes. I'm going to have to get some.

Anyone able to find them in stores instead of online? I know I can get better deals but I'm too impatient and Amazon gets me in trouble!

I also heard of taking fat free whipped cream cheese and adding your favorite Syrup and it is like cheese cake, or a cream pie. etc....

Cost Plus World Market carries them. Good price and lots of flavors in sugar free.< /p>

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
