I've never heard anything specific about 16 weeks out, but you could be experiencing a random stall for any number of reasons. I have been really slow on the losing front for several months, but I know it's because this is a weight where I maintained for several years pre-op. It's starting to pick up again. Apparently my body finally decided that 260 was NOT my ideal weight! Thank goodness!

Your stall will break, just keep following your plan and it will happen. You're not done losing yet. :)

I'm one month today and only 19lbs down. Which is about 5lbs a week. Very happy with progress. 60l lbs since January. It's a slow process but it took a long time to get to "obese". Doctor said stalling occurs and this is when you need to pick up your activity! Good luck!!!

Tighten up your diet and exercise more/differently. I'm on my 3rd stall and only 10lbs away from MY goal. My body is like, "I'm fine here", while my head says, "No you're not!". Dig deep and refocus. It may take a bit of time, but it will pass. Good Luck!!!

I am at 17 weeks and have not lost this week -- as a matter of fact I gained a pound. I just reviewed my FatSecret.com (similar to My Fitness Pal) and noticed that, although my fitness activities and liquid intake have remained the same, I have not been getting in as many calories this week -- around 650-680 down from 850-900. Also, my typical 80+ grams of Protein has been in the 60 range. So, my solution will be to up my proteins/calories a bit -- perhaps with a mid-afternoon snack and hopefully this will get me back on the "losing" train!
