Okay everybody, I'm new at this! Had surgery on Monday. Came home last evening. Surgery went great and I have very little pain, but I have zero energy! When will that get better? So far I have only been able to take a few sips of shake. Any advice or helpful hints would be appreciated!

It's gonna be a while. I was at about 3 weeks before I got my energy back. I would get little bouts of energy here and there, however they would go as quick as they came.

Each and every person is different. All depends on how your body reacts to the stress and trauma of the surgery. I had absolutely zero pain after surgery but for the following 2 weeks I felt like a whipped mule. Just take each day in stride, rest as much as you can and you'll be up and around before you know it.
