8 Months Out I Have My First Weight Gain.....

In 38 weeks I have lost an average of 1.5 lbs a week; mostly 1 lb per week as I lost a lot in the beginning. I write my experiences down on a weekly blog each Sunday so I know exactly what I weighed and when. Although my loss has been slow, it's been steady and I have to say I have never felt like I was depriving myself or on any diet, although my tummy could only handle certain things.

Today I gained 2 lbs. I was on vacation, but I don't think it was the food. I think it was the exercise. So today I wrote about my exercise over the past 8 months, as a 50 something, non-athletic woman. Also don't forget that your new fitness routine is building muscle, which weighs more than fat. Don't let the numbers on the scale mean too much - there are lots of other ways to measure your progress and success!

      Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

        Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

        Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
