Keeping Surgery A Secret.....

Recommended Posts

In my personal opinion' date=' I think its foolish not to. I spent too many years hiding the fact that I was overeating.

I want people to know that I had this surgery. I want to be embarrassed if I gain weight back after the surgery and people ask me why. I want that accountability. For me, If I were to not tell people, it would be simply another hidden part of my eating life. If a negative opinion here or there would upset me to the point that I didnt want to have the surgery, then I wouldnt be ready for the surgery anyway.

Besides, why shouldn't you give credit to the tool that helped change your life?[/quote']

Couldn't have said it better myself! At first I told nobody, but when I really started thinking about it & it's best because I won't allow myself to fail again in front of people. I need to take control now. I get sleeved on 12-17-12.
