Uploading Picturers?

Hi. DH here.

I uploaded and cropped my DW picture into her profile. I tried to get it to appear instead of the avatar she is using now.

I searched the help files and I could not figure out what I'm doing wrong. Any procedures, suggestions or insights would be most welcome.

Is it too big of a file? The only problem I had when adding my avatar picture is that I thought it wasn't uploaded because I couldn't see the picture after I hit submit. I had to go back to my profile to make sure it was there. I thought I was doing something wrong, but it all worked out in the end.
