girlfriday 59 Posted July 7, 2012 I am home from TJ and was sleeved by Dr. Garcia on July 2. I am getting my liquids but this rumbling in my tummy after every sip of everything is annoying. Some pain and discomfort as well after a sip. Please tell me this is somewhat typical??????

DivaK 55 Posted July 7, 2012 Yes I was sleeved on July 2nd as well. Prilosec has helped my stomach gurgling. I totally forgot my doctor advised me to still take it when I got home. I have real minor irritation if I drink to fast or swallow too hard. hopes this helps..

SleeveNoob 95 Posted July 7, 2012 I am 12 days post op and I still get the gurgling. All pain from drinking and eating has completely gone away except when I drink or eat to much. Doc says the gurgles are just your guts letting you know they are there lol
Looking Ahead 239 Posted July 7, 2012 Im 12 days out and every time I try to eat anything (even liquid soups) I have a sharp pain in my chest. I hold my chest and it goes away as quickly as it came. So frustrating. I assume this is normal. The only thing I can have that doesn't do this is Water. Anyone tell me how long it will do this or putting off eating just prolong the misery? SleeveNoob 95 Posted July 7, 2012 Try having whatever you are eating or drinking being room temperature. If I eat or drink anything that is hot or cold I get that pain. Room temperature doesn't do that to me.
