Wolfgirl1978 256 Posted July 9, 2012 I've been craving hotdogs, I think it's cause when I was 14 days post op me and the hubby went to the movies and he inhaled two of them in front of me. At that point I had been on liquids for three weeks, so they smelled like a little piece of heaven

Globetrotter 1,340 Posted July 9, 2012 I don't know if it is a sleever thing or what, but I had a hot dog over the weekend and have not stopped tootings since! I think I could have filled up a hot air balloon in the past 3 days! And it was a really high quality organic pure beef frank with mustard, no Buns.< /p>
katiepot 10 Posted July 11, 2012 Since we are SMACK DAB in the middle of summer- has anyone tried a hot dog or sausage that was (relatively) good nutritional content and that didnt gross you out? I go to lots of BBQ's and always bring a package of wieners or sausages (running gag) and kinda need to find one that I can enjoy. I have found the only hot dog I can eat w/o being queesy is a Hebrew National. I also do fine with the chicken sausages you get at Costco/Whole Foods (but they are gross). Looking for a bit of variety. What ones can you recommend? Seven most out. Still can't do dohs
SleeveDreamer 383 Posted July 12, 2012 Have you tried any of the turkey sausage links? I know wal-mart carries them in different flavors and they have lower fat than beef or pork. I'm only 9 days post-op and was sad that I couldn't have a Hebrew national grilled hot dog w/saur kraute & spicy mustard for 4th of July. lol looking forward to when I can The best tasting turkey sausage links ar Jimmy Dean in the red box. Target has them.
