I would just walk the halls when I had gas that wouldn't move. I honestly didnt think I walked all that much, but every one is different and there isnt a set amount of walking, just what you feel like you need!

When I was waking from surgery the assist. told me to use the spirometer every 30min. to keep from getting pnuemonia and walk as much as possible to keep from getting a blood clot, blood clot! scared the poop outta me so I walked as much as I could from day one wasn't that much I walked on treadmil slowly at first 10 min. in morning and 10 min in evening also great for getting gas out.

So I have a silly question...while walking uphill will tire me out quicker...will it cause pain?...I'm afraid to exert myself too much immediately following surgery. I live at the top of a hill...I'm thinking I'll have to drive to get to flat area...or join gym for treadmill. While I'm on the topic of driving...how long before I can drive?...right away?

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
