chicagochic 73 Posted July 6, 2012 I love this site! I get all my questions answered and you all have never steered me wrong. My top 5: #5 milk of magnesia is the nectar of the gods! That stuff works like nothing else. And with no discomfort. #4. Stalls happen. Deal with it. The weight will come off. It has no choice. I can't maintain all this fat on my current caloric intake. #3. Plan your meals ahead of time. If you dont know what you are going to eat, you are more likely to make poor choices. #2. Never trust a fart! That is one I just took everyone's word for. I have no desire to learn that on my own. I trust you all! #1. If I think it or have a question about it, put it on the board. Someone out there has experienced it before and knows what to do! What have you learned? 6 Spirit Fire, littlebits, kryssaboo and 3 others reacted to this
Jlewis229 191 Posted July 6, 2012 And you are so right about having a question and putting it on here! Everyone here is always so nice and helpful! I am so happy I found this website and have been supported like I have. It's really nice! 1 MKambalimath reacted to this
Butterthebean 8,146 Posted July 6, 2012 I had read number 2 on this board many times, but somehow I still wasn't quite prepared for it. Your number 3 is my number 1. Day in and day out, my success depends on knowing in advance what I'm going to eat next, otherwise there is a jack in the box on every corner just calling my name. Looking Ahead 239 Posted July 6, 2012 What I've learned... This too shall pass. Pain , stall, hunger, gas....you're going to be ok. Others have made it through it. And I'm NEVER alone. 3 flipflop, Spirit Fire and KristinaRN reacted to this
Giselle3264 175 Posted July 6, 2012 I learned the value of NSVs. Sometiimes the scales refuse to show how much progress we're making but there are other ways to see we're headed in the right direction. Too tight pants that are now too big or a compliment from an unexpected source. #3 is where I've failed before so I've already bought my serving containers to freeze meals that I can then pop into the microwave later in the week. 3 littlebits, Spirit Fire and MinaT reacted to this
chicagochic 73 Posted July 6, 2012 That is very true! The NSV's should have been number one! 1 littlebits reacted to this
