I had a half piece of whole grain toast with peanutbutter on it this morning and it didnt bother me any.. I assume something like that, or a wheat wrap or small flour tortilla shouldnt hurt in moderation.

I eat the double Fiber bread if I choose to eat a sandwich, and I toast my bread My sleeve doesn't like flour tortillas at all. I don't really tolerate the spinach wraps that well either.

flour tortillas are on my NUT's very short "never again" list. They tend to make small dough balls that don't digest well.

I love those sandwich thins. I think they are perfect. I always get the whole wheat, and only use half.

I live the sandwich thins but has anyone tried soft corn shells? I love them and hope I can eat them after my surgery at some point. I like to put cheese in them for a snack.< /p>

Everyone is different. At about four months out I started eating little half sandwiches on those thin rounds and it was an awesome way to up my carb intake and help me have more energy.

I am two years out and cannot eat more than one or two bites of tortilla without feeling sick. I can eat tortilla chips but the corn or flour tortillas themselves get stuck and refuse to move. Same with Pasta and rice - I can only do a few bites of each. bread isn't an issue but it's very filling.

Toast seems to go down easier, so if you have trouble with the rounds as they are, try toasting them first.

I've heard the toast thing too. Thanks for that!

My friend who is almost 1 year post-op uses the hungry girl flat bread to make her own homemade pizzas. Once I'm allowed more foods, I'm gonna have to try those.

I'm gonna ask my doc about the bagel thins aty follow up next week, cos I love the everything ones toasted with one wedge of laughing cow soft cheese spread on top. Of course I know that I won't be able to eat the whole thing but I can make one & cut up in small pieces & save the leftovers for later.

I have no trouble with any bread, or tortillas, unfortunately. I also use the sandwich thins to make sandwiches, cut in half and save the other half for later. Great vehicle for meat and cheese and veggies  You'll notice both the whole wheat and mutigrain ones are both high in fiber and protein....very good stuff!

Stupid question...what is a sandwich thin...

I don't think I've seen them. Is it a cracker or a type of bread?

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
