Yoda 0 Posted September 14, 2006 a little late...but welcome to bandland Green!!!! :clap2: Sounds like you are doing well; keep it up! I also like Ensure (chocolate!); that is my Breakfast...I have it with Protein powder (more chocolate) mixed in for that extra zip of protein; sometimes I'll also blend in a bananna. green 6 Posted September 14, 2006 So today I went shopping for food, eh. More Gardenay Soups and some yogurt as well. I don't actually have much of a sweet tooth, I am more of a salt and garlic kinda grrl, so I got some tzatziki which is yogurt Greek style - lots a garlic and minced cucumber. I am very happy! I also got lo-fat yogurt with chocolate in it. Little yogurt puddings. I am saving those for when I run out of the tzatziki.
neenagh 0 Posted September 14, 2006 i love gardenay Soup too. along with tzatziki, i also really like baba ghanoush, if you like garlic you'll love it!

green 6 Posted September 15, 2006 Welcome green! I've been away and just now had the chance to welcome you! what with surgery and trying to kill my hubby and all.... Thanx, Neenagh, for the welcome. Yep guys, I love baba ghanoush and hummos and all those lovely garlicky spreads. I also love that Mexican one made out of mashed avocado, guacamole, and I love a really good, fresh salsa. And I love raita which is an Indian yogurt and cucumber salad. I was thinking that maybe I could eat this stuff during my stay in mushie-land. I sure am enjoying soup-ville after that first week. :hungry: For some reason I can't stop talking about Soups. :help:
Irishmist 0 Posted September 15, 2006 I have to ask what is baba ghanoush:confused: and where do you get it. Maria:)
CLOE 0 Posted September 15, 2006 MMMmmmmmm, Maria, you have to try this stuff!!!! I find it at Zehrs, in the department usually by the deli, where they have imported cheese and spreads and stuff. If you ask the deli girl she'll find it for you. Just right it down, if your not sure how to pronounce it. It's to die for!!!:hungry:
