carriecat 12 Posted July 5, 2012 I ate my lunch way too fast. When I was done, I felt it sitting there, and I made myself throw up. I feel much better. Did I hurt myself in anyway? I am 4 weeks out, and this is the first time I did this. Has it ever happened to anyone else? Thanks 1 ProudGrammy reacted to this
ProudGrammy 8,322 Posted July 5, 2012 I ate my lunch way too fast. carriecat You didn't hurt yourself, but i wouldn't recommend throwing up in the future. i admit that i did that once too - same situation. i ate my meal too fast. I know it was just "sitting" in my stomach making me miserable and i was feeling sick, yes i did what you did cuz i felt I had no choice. Never did that again eat slower and you'll be fine and chew a million of times so that bad feeling never happens to your stomach again best of luck in sleeveland Kathy

ThisTimeIsIt 71 Posted July 5, 2012 I have had a problem with eating too fast as well - usually I will just try and walk if I feel uncomfortable after eating. Dr advised against throwing up at the support group I went to. 1 mylifeinpink reacted to this
Catracks 865 Posted July 5, 2012 When I have done that, I don't need to make myself throw up. It just happens and it's miserable. I eat very, very slowly. Try using chopsticks (only if you are not that good at it. Sadly, I am) or better yet, a baby fork or seafood/cocktail fork.
