Best Protein Drink?

Recommended Posts

I LOVE Isopure Protein Drink and Protein Water. Both come in a big bottle. The protein water is light in color, lightly flavored, and has 5g of protein. The protein drink comes in a big glass bottle also, is brightly colored, an comes in various full on fruity flavors like mango, apple, and grape. It has 40g of protein per bottle, and tastes like liquid Jello. you can buy it online, and in some GNC's.

One serving of CIB has 5 Gms Protein. One cup of skim milk has 8 - 9 Gms depending on the brand.

This gives you 14 gms of Protein per serving.

Isopure RTD has 40 Gms per 20 ounce serving. Same amount of CIB/Skim Milk has 35 Gms.

Isopure is touted to be one of the highest Protein drinks. I personally can't stand the taste of Isopure or other Protein Drinks but like CIB/Skim milk.

Thanks!!!! I am not a fan of Protein drinks, but could definitely stomach CIB. I'll be banding in 1 1/2 weeks, and am trying to plan out my protein. I'm so thrilled at this option!

They even make a lactose free CIB. But it is RTD and high calorie. Although you could add soymilk to it to cut the calories. You still would get a good dose of Protein.

Because I don't like milk products I opted for Isopure after my banding. It is really sweet so I blend it with ice in my Magic Bullet and it is great. I know I'm getting my Protein and it tastes great. Right out of the bottle it is a little too sweet for me, but blended it is great. I had to order mine on line from The Supplement Store at GNC here doesn't carry it. It was well worth the money. I bought a case of the tropical fruit and the grape...both are good.

Hope you find something you truly enjoy.

You could try the lo carb CIB(powder form) in soymilk. Just would give you a different flavor occasionally. My daughter drinks the lo carb CIB and adds a little shot of lo carb chocolate Syrup to give it a little extra chocolatey flavor. Well 16 y/o girls need their chocolate right?

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
