I don't think I changed clothing sizes until I was 3 months (frustrating!) into the process then I really started to see the changes in the size I wore and how much I weighed. I had surgery in November 2011 and now I have lost 110 lbs. I still have 50 more I would like to lose but it does slow down plus I don't always eat what I should. Your weight does fluctuate throughout the week so choose to weigh yourself on a certain day each week and only let that day count. I still weigh myself each day but only Mondays count:) It does go up and down depending on if I drank Water or pop or if I had a lot of sodium.

I gained 1.4 pounds this morning. I am frustrated, but I know it will go away. I think I need to take some magnesium. :)

Mine is sloooowly creeping off as well. My surgery was June 13th and I've only lost 17lbs. Not getting discouraged yet!

There's nothing wrong. It's your Body's metabolism adjusting that's all. My first two weeks after being sleeved I dropped 35 lbs fast. Now in the 2 weeks following I haven't lost a thing. I'm sure the 35lbs was Water weight mostly. Now my body has to adjust to the new routine and way of eating and everything else that goes along with being sleeved.

Don't worry, in time you'll start loosing more. Just stick to a reasonable diet and keep hydrated and things will be fine.

I would say to ad an additonal Protein Drink as a snack in the afternoon. Since you can't eat alot, ou will need to drink more of them to get 60-70g in. The more Protein you eat, the better for our weight loss. I am 6 months and still drink at least one rtd protein drink every afternoon.

I use fitday.com to write down what I am eating. It gives your the Protein count and everything. Best of luck to you. Today is my 1 week surgiversary and I am not going to weigh until I see the surgeon next week. I don't want to be held captive by the scale. I am just trying to follow the program and have faith that it will work.

Take care and I think adding a snack in is a great idea.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
