BAYOUSLEEVE225 4 Posted July 4, 2012 I took about 1 week off. I have a job where I sit so it was approved by my surgeon. She just wants everyone to get up and walk as much as possible. Hopefully that's all I have to take off from work!
BAYOUSLEEVE225 4 Posted July 4, 2012 I was only out for less than a week. Had surgery on a Wednesday and returned to work on Tuesday. I only had pain and nausea for 2 days though! Good luck!!! Hopefully that's all I would have to take off from work!
altagirl 127 Posted July 4, 2012 I just started a new job a few weeks ago, so I understand where you are coming from. I am scheduled to have surgery on Sept 10th - my plan is to take one full week off and then work the next 2 weeks half days. I really hope it works out! Goodhealthgrl 2 Posted July 4, 2012 I took off 3 weeks. I needed every bit of it. You really have to get use to eating again because it is so different after surgery.

Have you told the new job about your surgery or are you planning to wait until it's time?
