MKambalimath 92 Posted July 2, 2012 I haven't been to the gym in well over a week. I fainted last Saturday at work (mortifying) and was scared to go Sunday before work in case I did it again. Then I went to visit my family in MI all last week. My parents have a treadmill but I only used it twice . I had to work all this weekend too, so again, I didn't want to over exert myself in the heat when I had to be at work. I really don't want a repeat of last weekend. Now, its Monday (very early here in OH) and I'm planning on going every day this week since I'm going BACK to MI this coming weekend. I'm SO scared now. I haven't seen my trainer or lifted a weight, and I'm afraid I lost all progress I made on the "helliptical". I'm afraid its going to be like starting over . Even thinking about it is making me soooooooooo tired, lol.
Rosie88 14 Posted July 2, 2012 What caused you to faint, do you know?
MKambalimath 92 Posted July 2, 2012 I have no idea. I had gone to a Zumba class in the morning and started work at 230pm. I fainted a little after 4. I THINK, it might have been a combination of too long between meals, over exertion and dehydration when it was over 90 degrees. I work at an outlet mall and I was really early for work so I walked around the mall 3 times for a little more exercise. I think it was all just too much for me. GivingItMyAll 168 Posted July 2, 2012 Take care of yourself. I'm also worried about getting back into the swing of things after being on restriction from the surgery. Sent from my iPad using VST
Rosie88 14 Posted July 2, 2012 Don't worry, going a week or two without exercise does not mean you've lost all the progress you've made. But remember you need to eat and drink enough to fuel your workouts. It's not only about weight loss, it's about health, and it's very possible to lose weight in an unhealthy way. Take care of yourself; listen to your body. Good luck getting back in the swing of things!
