what about coconut palm sugar - I saw this mentioned on Dr. Oz - is low glycemic - suppose to help stop blood sugar spikes - I got some at festival foods - around $6.00 a pkg. measures just like sugar. Its natural so shouldn't have the side effects artificial sweetners have I guess. Hope this helps.

You should be shooting for 40 grams of Protein and 48 oz of Fluid daily for the first week (per my doc). Which basically meant I could have hotglued a cup to my hand - I was always sipping on something!
