Stae 17 Posted July 1, 2012 I was sleeved on Wednesday June 27th. I did pretty good in the hospital, but I do have a lot of pain in my right side. I keep reading about pain in the left side, but mine is in the right side. It kind of feels like a pulling burning sensation, but only when I am up and walking around. the pain seems to be on the inside. I can touch the outside of my stomach and it does not hurt at all. Has anyone else felt this? Pain medicine does not really help. I feel great everywhere else. I am really hoping that this will pass quickly. I am ready to be up and moing around a lot more. Nate 292 Posted July 1, 2012 I'm not sure if that's a "normal" pain people experience or not. You should probably call your Doc and explain whats going on. He'll have a better idea of what the problem might be, or can tell you what to do to get it looked at.

My left side was hurting yesterday after an hour long walk, but My right side hurt when I sit up straight for too long and also when I woke up this morning. Christine Kirk-Lopez 5 Posted July 1, 2012 I have the same exact pain on the right side! I honestly think it may be spasms. My doctor gave me anti-spasm medication and I decided to try one and it helped the pain. I only have the pain when I am up and I actually have a small indentation where the pain is too. My husband said he wondered if it was a spasm so I tried the under the tongue medication and it did subside. I'm glad to see someone else is experiencing the same thing! Everything else seems to be going well.
Stae 17 Posted July 1, 2012 Thank you everyone. I got up and walke a little bit a few minutes ago and the pain was not as sharp. I am hoping that means that the pain is starting to go away. I will keep you all posted. The support on this site is so awesome! Good luck everyone.
