I adore drama and I LOVE a good game. Drama and games are individually multi-billion dollar industries, so all the fanning, vapors and "I just can't take the drama" around here are hypocritically pathetic. I can dish it out, and I can take it. Know that.

LBT is a profitable industry. I won $37.00 last night over this thread.

Susan

In my opinion by you posting this PM from Lisa in a public thread is not better then what you are accussing Lisa of doing. This is mean spirited and cruel. This should be kept private. I'm curious if the moderators though will also ban you for "attacking the person" like Lisa got banned for doing

This was your post to me less then a half hour ago.

La Madam..

None of that really matters. What does matter is that they are all being very cruel and hateful and filling up LBT with spiteful posts that are upsetting people. And the fact that I'm lumped into this simply because they have decided to target me for whatever reason, saddens me to no end.

________________

You are doing the exact same thing by making this PM public for everyone to read. Like the saying goes. 2 wrongs do not make a right.

Right. I forgot. Every time I try to defend myself I look just like her. Thanks for the reminder. My apologies to LBT for any part I have played in this. I will go back to keeping my mouth shut while people rip and tear me to shreds using every painful thing I have shared here for support to cut me with.

Hmm..interesting.The only way us members can delete a post is to edit it but our name stil lstays on that post, everything from your post is gone. I'd like to know how, becasue there have been times I would like to delete my entire post but I can't. Can you explain it to us members, maybe Iam doing something wrong here.

Here's some unsolicited advice. You look the bigger person when you ignore it. PM the folks you care about and tell them the truth. Everyone else? Screw em. Who cares what people think. If you ignore it, then it will go away, and people who have a negative opinion, whatevah. If you don't respond then there is nothing for anyone to have an opinion on regarding your behavior. I'm not saying that I think anything about what's going on, it's none of my business. I'm telling you this as someone who was harassed on another board and I ignored it. After a while the harassing poster only makes themselves look bad when they are posting and nobody is responding. It gets old and they look pathetic.

Trust me. Ignore it. This is the voice of experience talking. I'm giving you pearls here!! :biggrin1:

It's called an ignore list. Although I personally have not feel as though I've been attacked or anything, there are certain people whose posts just rub me wrong. Rather than respond, first I ignore it. If they become consistent, I add that person to my ignore list so I don't even have to read the darn things.

I figure if those people are ignorant enough to tick me off like that then they can't possibly write anything that I absolutely need to read.

Lets face it....certain people will never ignore it and will ALWAYS respond for one reason only: drama queens.

They like the drama and feel the need to be a part of it and to play the victim.

My two cents (and, the ONLY - and last- two cents I've put into this entire thing by the way).

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
