cegull 53 Posted July 1, 2012 Sounds great! Do you have to go on a 2 week pre-op liquid diet? I've been reading different posts and it looks like the pre-op instructions vary by doctor. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
lcle1234 5 Posted July 1, 2012 I think they must vary also. Most people seem to have to do 2 weeks preop liquid. My Dr. told me I need to start liquids on July 25, so that is just 1 week before surgery. They also said I would be on liquids for 3 weeks after. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
cegull 53 Posted July 1, 2012 One of the biggest concerns I have is that I have to stop taking estrogen 2 weeks prior to surgery and 3 weeks after. Can you say HOT FLASHES?!?!?!?!? lcle1234 5 Posted July 1, 2012 I am not on estrogen, but do have hot flashes! I feel for you! They must all worry a lot about blood clots.
