How Soon After Surgery Did Your Energy Level Increase?

How soon after surgery did you notice an improvement in your energy level? I am 300 lbs and have been exhausted for about 3 years. One of my top motivators for having the surgery done is that I am tired of being tired. Can anyone share about returning energy levels after surgery.....with as many specifics as possible,.....pretty please?

(you can spare the "surgery affects everyone differently" speech--I know :) )

With me, it was 3 weeks almost to the day after surgery when I realized I was feeling much better and more energetic than ever. I had been so exhausted after surgery I didn't think I would ever get through it. As I get nearer to my goal, I find myself more active than ever and looking for things to do. Make sure you get plenty of fluids and Protein, and I mean PLENTY, because those 2 things will make the difference. Good luck!
