erikadawn 1 Posted June 30, 2012 Hi! I had my gastric sleeve surgery on Tuesday. It is now Friday and I am done with the nausea (thank goodness). I had a typical stay in the hospital (surgery on Tuesday, home on Thursday). My only compliant is that the right side of my abdomen is very sore. Is that common? I've heard all the scary stories of hernias and such. Any opinions?

Pre-OpLoser619 36 Posted July 3, 2012 From what I've read sometimes it can be because they took the stomach out on that side so it can be a little more sore, but I'd touch base with your doc to be sure.
