Vets Best Way To Tone Your Legs

Recommended Posts

Just wondering what work best for you? I'm swimming laps and also am walking/jogging six days a week for at least 60 minutes. What do you think worked best to tone your legs???

Squats and lunges are really good for your legs. Do you go to a gym? There are some really good machines that isolate the thighs.

I'm doing tons of those "really good machines that isolate the thighs" and praying that they help with my loose skin there. Between the recumbent bike and the elliptical, my legs look pretty good except right at the top center. There is a ton of muscle, but there's also that loose skin which is icky, IMO.

I am swimming and doing a ski machine, so far my legs r fine. It's still very early on for me but I have not had any issues with loose skin in my legs...my problem is my upper arms...the skin is starting to sag and I know it will only get worse...any suggestions for the flab that hangs under my arm??

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
