prisytomboy 24 Posted June 29, 2012 Had my last consultant with the surgeon's nurse Wednesday for my surgery on 6/18. She told us there is really nothing to do about nausea but walking helps a lot. sending positive vibes. hope you feel better.
JD7176 84 Posted June 29, 2012 I had extreme naseau and vomiting the first 24hrs. I thought I was going to meet my maker.... The doc and staff kept telling me it would go away and I didn't believe them. It did subside on day 2. Once home I felt mildly nauseous a day or two. By the end of week 1 I felt fantastic. Havent been sick since....well, when trying a couple new foods, but that happens.
GivingItMyAll 168 Posted June 29, 2012 Can the doc give you something for the nausea? I was nauseous in the hospital and they gave me meds that helped it immediately. My nausea was directly related to the pain meds, so as soon as I stopped them, the nausea stopped as well. Sent from my iPad using VST
