skane10 64 Posted June 29, 2012 So I have been in Mexico since Monday and am 3 days post op. I feel great and was walking around the Walmart today to buy some essentials. The funny thing that I experience is in the hotel Marriot. I needed some tampax and pads. I went to the gift shop and they sell the pad individually wrapped. I declined and bought the whole bag of 14 for 17.50! I was desperate. That was why I went to Walmart, I need tampons. I went back to the gift shop to buy Tylenol for the headache I have had for 2 days. I bought 2 pills from the bottle for 2.80 If you are preparing to have surgery in Mexico and are staying at the Marriot, be prepared. Other than that, they have great service, speak English and have super comfy beds with lots of soft pillows.

O.T.R. sleever 3,386 Posted June 29, 2012 Do bring feminine products and own medicine?!??!! Or at least don't plan on buying them in the hotel gift shop. Just view it as a convenience fee. All things considered $20 in extra expenses is not that bad. 1 hope2Bfitand40 reacted to this
