MicheleH 1 Posted June 29, 2012 Had my psych appt today and see nutritionist tomorrow...dr consult on July 12 and surgery set for July 20. I'm a little worried that I'll be put on a pre-op liquid diet only because I know there are so many foods I won't be able to eat for a few months after the surgery. Trying to wrap my head around the idea that I'll actually be able to wear some of those skirts in my closet that I've held onto for years hoping that "someday" I'd lose the weight. Three weeks from tomorrow, new life begins...so much swirling in my head... Seems this is all I think about lately. I guess that's to be expected?
Lissa 2,631 Posted June 29, 2012 Oh, yeah, it's to be expected! You're getting ready to make a humongous change in your life! I can't even describe how much my life has changed for the better! I love being able to wear clothes that would have never made it up to my thigh before... or how great it is to know that I'm not going to be a sweaty mess if I decide to take the stairs instead of using the elevator. Shoot, just having the energy to choose those stairs is phenomenal!! Good luck!! 1 jld2012 reacted to this
