Lissa 2,631 Posted June 29, 2012 I waited three months, but others have had success sooner. Did your doc give you any guidelines on food? If so, you should follow that advice. If not, I'd wait until you can tolerate most foods since salad typically has a lot of Fiber in it and it could be tough for your sleeve to handle for a bit. lollyfidy1965 402 Posted June 30, 2012 My surgeon discharged me from the hospital with instructions to start my chewable Vitamin that night, and to take 2/day. No other supplements (other than liquid Zantac and Actigall) until after my first follow-up appointment (3 weeks post-op). I've not had any problems with the vitamin...Flintstones Complete.
