CraftyV 61 Posted June 28, 2012 well for me at least. Today, one of my consumers (I work with disabled persons) asked me if she could pick up pizza for lunch. pizza (and for some strange reason strawberry milk) have been my more severe cravings! I reluctantly agreed. When she brought the pizza in the car it smelled sooo good. I realized then that the pizza does not need to be eaten to be enjoyed... hello I have other senses! I decided to enjoy the smell of pizza and honestly, it worked! I didnt feel the need to eat it. I guess this would be consider an NSV. Just wanted to share, I guess. Hope you are all doing great! 2 Spirit Fire and cissiesue reacted to this

Katie713 423 Posted June 28, 2012 I recently saw a recipe for little mini low carb pizza bites, microwaving pepperoni slices til crisp, then topping with a little marinara sauce and cheese - then zap them again, or put them in the oven until the cheese is melted. Sounds amazing. I did the ricotta bake one day when I made lasagna for my family. Used a little ramekin and put meat sauce on the bottom, then a dollop of ricotta (mixed with egg/parm/parsely) and then a little more sauce, then motzarella and parm. Put it in the oven until browned and bubbly. Come on. It was exactly the same flavor, but no noodles and it totally hit the spot. I ate half and was perfectly full (1/2 cup) and had the rest a few hours later when the others were having seconds of lasagna! 1 Pre-OpLoser619 reacted to this
Ms skinniness 3,003 Posted June 28, 2012 It's a good thing I have just eaten! These sound so delicious! I love the Lasagna cupcakes too. I just have to remember that I really can't and don't want to eat too much. But it is amazing how our mind can work against us. LOL

BTW I have tried cauliflower pizza from here http://www.eat-drink-smile.com/2011/04/cauliflower-crust-pizza.html It is super good! My teenagers ate it.. Yes Dorrie, I have to try so hard to think differently! Right now, I could not even finish the meager food in front of me.
