Hi and welcome to the forum! I'm 12 days post op and feeling great! Down 17lbs so far, and pretty happy about that. Physically, it's been easier than I expected. Mentally, I wasn't prepared for the challenge. I miss eating, and chewing. I've been dreaming of it. I think as soon as I get to the mush stage, I'll be much better. Having support is the key. surround yourself with like minded people. This forum has been a big help also!

Welcome! I had my surgery Feb 9th, 2012 and have had no issues at all. Of course the first few days I was a bit sore but nothing I couldnt handle. I was up and about at the hospital walking around an hour after getting back from surgery,it helped since it hurt my back to lay in the bed too long ( hospital beds arent known to be too comfy!)
