jennapenn 5 Posted June 27, 2012 It has taken me longer then a year to have reached this point but i am finally less then 2 weeks away from surgery. I am so excited and can't wait for it to be here already but I am also scared for everything. Maybe I am just overreacting to the anxiety of it all and the actualization of it all happening. i am just wanting to know how everyone else felt and how you are feeling now and what I should expect... this forum is just so wonderful and you all provide such an amazing support i am so grateful! 1 chitowngirl reacted to this
Cindy H 6 Posted June 27, 2012 I am feeling exactly the same way you are! I am 4 days away from my surgery. I actually had the lap band before but it prolapsed so I had to have it removed and now I am starting all over again. I am probably more nervous now than I was before! I have been on a clear liquid diet since monday and am SOO hungry. I got my weight done at my preop nutrition last Thursday and since I started my liquid diet, I have lost 11 pounds in 3 days. Don't know how it happened but according to the scale...I have! Good luck with your journey!!!!
jennapenn 5 Posted June 27, 2012 Oh my gosh! Sounds like you have had quite the journey! But I hope this is the last leg of it for you!! I will start my liquid diet on the 6th as my surgery is the 9th and it only has to be a 3 day one. But sounds like you are doing so great!! Good Luck to you! Cindy H 6 Posted June 27, 2012 I am so jealous your pre-op is only 3 days!! I've been drinking mostly Water and sugar free hawaiin punch. If I have my Protein Shakes close together, my stomach ends up hurting. Your surgery is 1 week after mine! We should definitely keep in touch!!! Good Luck to you too!!! 1 jennapenn reacted to this
