becky444 11 Posted June 27, 2012 I have been walking on the treadmill since the day I got home from the hospital. I was careful not to push it, went for longer time instead of higher intensity. Now (8 days out) I'm bumping up intensity a bit every day. Walking is good for you after this surgery. You should be walking very day I think

alovio 76 Posted June 27, 2012 you definetley should be walking, my first week after surgery i was walking about 3 miles a day....not all at once but broke it down to about 4 walks a day. try app called map my walk it helps tells you how much you've walked. good luck
thinmymind 107 Posted June 27, 2012 I walked as soon as I was home as well. Either outside or on the treadmill. Just about 15 minutes at a time, a couple of times a day.
