andi0120 41 Posted June 26, 2012 Just wondering if anyone has teen sons and how they acted after you started losing weight. I have a 14 n 16 year old and my oldest son is acting really protective. He is noticing guys checking me out. It's like he just figured I'm not just a mom lol.

iegal 460 Posted June 27, 2012 Teenage and up...really hard at any time for a boy/young man to understand his mom is a woman. You can't stop people looking at you (yippee) but you don't have to gawk back and embarass the boy(s). Celebrate that people are noticing. Minimize your reaction for your boys. High five to you! wannabeeskinny 10 Posted June 27, 2012 My son just turned 13, and also I haven't lost that much weight for him to notice as I'm only 2 weeks post op. But I do know, my son was embarrassed whenever I was around him and his friends due to my weight.
