kadive 21 Posted June 26, 2012 Hi! I just had the first visit with Dr. Schweitzer (Johns Hopkins Bariatric Center). He explained the process, risk , pros, act. I will meet with the Nut next month to start all the process. I asked if i need any pre op diet and furtunately Hopkins doesn't required any pre op diet only the day prior to surgery. I did my homework and call cigna for the new requirements and the goods news the change the supervised diet to three months instead of six! Wish me luck! VJSlim 156 Posted June 26, 2012 Best of luck to you, Karen! Make full use of the pre-op diet. My doc wanted me to be on a pre-op diet for 3 weeks only. I lost 12lbs and it did wonders to my self-confidence. I needed to believe that I AM ready to make lifestyle changes and choose food wisely to step into this journey. The pre-op diet made me believe this. Very excited for you!! See you soon on the losers bench!!
